Why Elephant’s Heart

At the peak of my biggest burnout episode to date, I invested in a 1-1 session with Native American Indigenous healer, Asha Frost, whose work I’d followed for a few months. Her way of being touched me deeply. It felt irresistible and magnetic.
Asha works primarily with spiritual energy. During our session, she offered a medicine journey to help me connect with my spirit animal. As a result, I saw a little elephant feeling joyful, playful, safe and loved. I could feel into the energy of her environment, filled with gentleness, softness, acceptance and love. Asha saw her, too. She symbolised the things that I’ve been missing in life.
When it was time to pick a name for my practice, it came to me with ease – Elephant’s Heart. I wanted to create a space – for myself and others – that embodies the energy of gentleness, softness, acceptance and love.
The emphasis on the heart came from the prominent, life-giving role it has in the functioning of the body. I also intuited that my work with clients would centre around the heart chakra and the energy of love, which is a universal source of truth, power, wisdom and creativity.
